When did you pre-order? Just curious as I am trying to figure out when i will get my shipment notification.

When did you submit you pre-order. This might help us all figure out when our beloved 3gs will ship!!

I also ordered minutes after the keynote, and also got the shipment notice this morning. I thought the SHENZHEN, China origination was interesting.

dang… i pre-ordered on 11th….
im hoping i’ll get a shipping notice later today or tomorrow at least…
waiting for 3GS, which is my first iPhone, is killing me!!!

your lucky man. my order status says “Prepared for Shipment” so im wondering when it will ship but i called apple and they guaranteed i will get it no later than friday 19th. i ordered on last wednesday the 11th

I hope someone will be home to sign for it. Not sure about AT&T, but other carriers sometimes require that someone be physically there to sign for a cellphone package.

What state are you having the phone shipped to?

Hey I ordered my 3G S on June 8th too and I didn’t get a shipping notice yet!! It does say prepared for shipment so I hope I get it by the 19th!!

I got my shipping notice which on the email said shipped on 6/16 delivery by 6/22. When I clicked on tracking number the UPS site said 6/22, after a couple refreshes it said rescheduled date: 6/17, after a couple more refreshes it said 6/17 – in transit-on time. A few hours later it said 6/18. I am not sure if I’m the only one having this problem but its weird and i hope i get it before the 19th.

Looks like mine is gonna be here june 17th. according to ups, my package was gonna be shipped from shenzhen yesterday with World Ease Express but my destination doesnt support it so it got upgraded to a stand alone shipment and its going overnight to minneapolis.

Ordered my 3GS on 6/9 and my shipping status says ‘In Progress’. Was told it will be shipped on the 19th! Very anxious!!

I ordered mine at 8:00 p.m. EST on the 8th and have yet to receive any emails from Apple. My order status says “Not yet shipped.” Sad.

I ordered my iPhone 3GS on the morning of June 9th through a ATT retail store. I have checked my order status and it has been shipped as well. But, ATT said it will not release it early, i have to get it first thing at 7am friday morning. damn.

if u go to apple and check your order status, there’s a way document u can sign and put it up on ur door, so that the UPS guy just leaves it at ur house or deliver it to ur neighbor so u can get it later.

Check your order status now. Mine says “Exception” in the status field. THE RECEIVER REQUESTED A HOLD FOR A FUTURE DELIVERY DATE. UPS WILL ATTEMPT DELIVERY ON DATE REQUESTED. Hopefully being held so it doesn’t arrive before friday, but scary none the less. When you mouse over “Exception” in the status field, it says that “an unforseen event has occured, which could result in a change in delivery date”. Fingers crossed, i’m really looking forward towards friday the 19th.

Congrats to you! I’m sitting here waiting for my order status to change from “in progress” to “shipped.” After several failed attempts to place orders (the first of which on June 9th – and the one that finally processed on June 15th) I hope that I will still receive my iPhone 3Gs on Friday the 19th. And before everyone says that I’m definitely SOL and I will, without a doubt be receiving mine sometime after the release, all of the orders placed had the same order number. So who knows. I have my fingers crossed!

I ordered morning of the 9th and still no news on if it has shipped.

I ordered my 3GS on the 8th like others…. unfortunately Apple is shafting me. I get an e-mail on the 9th telling me that there was an error in their system and I will get it on the 19th but the system still says it SHIPS on the 19th and will be delivered on the 22nd. I call today because it still says ‘Prepared for Shipment’ and they tell me that it will definitely ship on the 19th and they’re sorry for that. Figures. All they offered me for their mistake was $15 off $100 or more purchase. Thanks Apple. Sorry to sound bitter… I expected more from them.

Just got an email from UPS regarding the “exception”:

I ordered mine at an ATT retail store on the 15th, i checked the status it it still say “in process” is that bad???

I ordered mine on June 29th from an AT&T store and they said it would ship in a week and it’s two days from a full week now and it says “in process” will I get it before Thursday?

Just love the new 32gb iPhone. Ultimate gadget for me. Nice post. Thanks.
